Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VIUCraft ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VIUCraft provides a URL-based image manipulation API that allows you to resize, crop, filter, and transform images programmatically. The Service includes a web dashboard, API access, and related tools.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, process, or distribute illegal, harmful, or objectionable content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or other technical restrictions

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

The Service offers multiple subscription plans with varying features and usage limits. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Billing occurs monthly based on your selected plan
• Overage charges may apply if you exceed your plan's included usage
• You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods

6. Free Trial

New accounts may be eligible for a free trial of the Professional plan. After the trial period, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

7. API Keys and Security

API keys are confidential credentials. You must not share, publish, or embed API keys in client-side code. Compromised keys should be revoked immediately through your dashboard.

8. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all images you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your images solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VIUCraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that could harm the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
